Delete your Chen Cloud account.

Delete in the Android app

1. Open Chen Nearby and select Me.
2. Open Privacy Policy, then jump to Your choices.
3. Select Delete Chen Cloud account.
4. Enter the Chen ID shown by the app and type DELETE.
5. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

The current device must be signed in and approved. If you cannot access the app or the approved device, email butao@chennearby.com from the address associated with your Google sign-in and include your Chen ID. We will verify the request before deletion.

Data deleted with the account

The verified deletion removes the Chen Cloud account, profile, avatar, linked Google identity, devices, sessions, friend and block relationships, group relationships, subscription metadata, entitlements, encryption-key packages and other recoverable server metadata associated with the account.

Encrypted in-flight message envelopes and encrypted attachment data are removed or placed into a short protected cleanup queue. The service does not hold the content keys needed to decrypt supported cloud chat content.

Local data and limited retention

Private Ledger, itinerary entries, local conversations, downloads and LAN transfer records are stored on your device and are not deleted by the cloud-account request. Delete them inside the relevant feature, clear Android app storage or uninstall Chen Nearby.

We may retain narrowly limited records only when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance, and only for the necessary period.
